Away <\/strong><em>(1st August &#8211; 3rd August 2025)<\/em><br \/>Recently we hosted our weekend away, health first, weight next.<span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">It was a fabulous weekend with 31 delegates, 5 sponsors, 5 speakers and several partners.<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">A great time was had by all.<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Many hours of work went into organising this weekend and it was disappointing that less than 20 of the delegates were members of the St George Division of General Practice.<\/span><\/p><p>In an era when an increasing amount of our time is spent online, it is becoming increasingly difficult to engage people with in person events.\u00a0 The book of Hebrews in the Bible says, \u201clet us not give up meeting together.\u201d\u00a0 Although this is in the context of encouraging one another in faith, the same principle can be applied to us as general practitioners.\u00a0<\/p><p><!--EndFragment --><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f388c7c e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"f388c7c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div
