Meet a Specialist Networking Dinner (19th September 2025)
The St George Division of General Practice partnered with St George Private Hospital and a range of local sponsors to host a social
dinner for GPs and Specialists to meet at the St George Sailing Club.
Weekend Away (1st August – 3rd August 2025)
Recently we hosted our weekend away, health first, weight next. It was a fabulous weekend with 31 delegates, 5 sponsors, 5 speakers and several partners. A great time was had by all. Many hours of work went into organising this weekend and it was disappointing that less than 20 of the delegates were members of the St George Division of General Practice.
In an era when an increasing amount of our time is spent online, it is becoming increasingly difficult to engage people with in person events. The book of Hebrews in the Bible says, “let us not give up meeting together.” Although this is in the context of encouraging one another in faith, the same principle can be applied to us as general practitioners.
We honour the contributions of our members and partners who have helped shape these events into meaningful moments of progress and connection.
