The St George Division of General Practice is one of 7 member companies involved in the governance of CESPHN.  The member companies are eligible to nominate and elect directors to the EIS Health Limited Board, ensuring that each group has a strong and independent voice in determining health service provision as set out in EIS Health Ltd Constitution.

CESPHN’s boundaries align with those of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District and Sydney Local Health District.

The region incorporates 13 local government areas, which include St George.

The clinical chairs meet four times a year and along with the Clinical Council and Community Council provide strategic advice to the Board and assist in identifying opportunities to improve access to health services and provide advice about matters affecting out patients and members, population health planning and the commissioning of services.
